Ok so I’ve booked my surgery for November 9th! However, all of a sudden I’m worrying that it’s only 6 weeks til Christmas and that they won’t have settled enough!? I see a lot of family over Christmas and I won’t be telling them all that I’m having this done! So I’m worried they’ll be obviously fake still! Any advice on how long they take to settled and their fake hard cone shape to start relaxing and become more natural looking!? Should I bring my surgery forward if they have space!? X

Hey, as long as you’re clever in what you wear people probably won’t notice! I’m 6 days post op and as long as I cover up no one can tell! Also my Macom compresses them so much that the shape etc isn’t noticeable under clothes. By 6 weeks you should be fine anyway, but even if they do still look a little fake just don’t wear anything low cut and you should be alright 🙂 xx

Hey Kay I’m 2week po tomoz I had 325 hp u unders and without clothes looks quite big well for my frame anyway, but with clothes and my Macom on nobody notices even a few people have said you can’t tell which I felt quite shitty about, but I won’t lie I did used to wear the biggest booster bras I could find and right now the support bra defo holds them down xx

I’m not going with MYA but having 485cc on the 17th of Dec. My surgeon said they will start to settle after about 5-7 days but i thinks because I already have pretty big boobs. I’m a D but have no profile due to BF 2 kids. If you look at other girls 6 weeks down the line they all look good and have at least started to soften xx

I think I might just be worrying for nothing then! Haha everything you have all said makes sense! If they’re not settled wear something that covers me… Makes sense haha
I’m a small 32B and having 350 unders so I think it will be obvious! But I’ll dig out some jumpers and hope for the best! X

I’m at 7 weeks now and I think my breasts are getting very natural 🙂 and they haven’t changed much in the last week if I’m honest. They’ve gotten a little softer but that’s it. Mine were pretty cone shaped to begin with, so I imagine you’ll be fine 🙂
I would suggest wearing at very least something that covers the armpit to breast area…as that’s the place where mine look most fake (rounded shape there).
I don’t find Macoms give a nice shape though. I never wore mine in the end, wore the M&S high impact bras… They give a much rounder shape because they are slightly padded. So, if in the run up to Christmas you still don’t like the shape, maybe an M&S bra will do the trick?
Good luck for November/earlier if you decide to do that! x

I’m 5 wks today and no one has noticed. I look a lot different naked however when I have clothes on it looks as it did with a padded bra. All my clothes still fit, which I was worried about. I had 400 overs and was a b/c to star with. I agree with Chris that the M&S bras give a better shape it just depends which you want to wear. I’ve been wearing those and my macom and at 5wks they have definitely changed from the cone shape and are much softer. Good luck for November x

Did you both get measured for your M&S sports bra’s after surgery? Or did you guesstimate a size and buy before?
Also I wear 32B but my ribs actually measure 26/27 inches so I should wear a 30 I’m just comfy in a 32, what size Macom would you recommend? X

I’m usually a 32, my P.C suggested to go up a band at M&S and also get an E cup. Which fitted although with the swelling post op I ordered 36DD too. They are slightly on the small side at M&S. I ended up buying a few different sizes as I’m going through my weeks post op. You have 35days to return anything to M&S which is helpful. My macom is a 32 as they stretch over the breast area but more true to size around the band. They recommend you buy the same size band you currently wear and lots of girls on here all say the same. I’ve used both types of bra depending on how sore or swollen I’ve been to be fair. Hope this helps xx

I think I might possibly be a 30 back but always worn a 32 as never been measured and I have a 32 post surgery bra similar to Macom and I checked with nurses and they said it definitely fits fine x
