So my toddler has the snuffles and I’m really panicking I have my ba booked for this Saturday what will happen if I get the cold will I have to cancel or will they go ahead if it’s just the snuffles no temp cough etc? Xx

I had a cold start the day before, so I just took everything I could find to stop it: garlic tablets, sudafed and paracetamol. Next day I barely had a sniffle but just pretended I was ok and everything went ahead!
I’d say if you feel horrific or very ill / congested it wouldn’t be safe to have the op. Just boost your immune system and you’ll be fine.
I used bicks first defense, my kids had colds too the few days before my op. It stopped me getting a cold 🙂 xx i also was taking vitemin c tabs too and drinking plenty of water xx
