Contraceptive pill?

Hi girls, just wondering if anyone is on the pill and whether they stopped taking theirs or not? I had an op back in January and the hospital didn’t say I needed to stop my pill so I’m just wondering why mya says you have to? Xx

yeah im on it and had to stop 4 weeks before xx

I had to stop for weeks before and could start taking it again 2 weeks after m op. I am on the combined pill called lucette. My nurse advised me at my pre op 🙂 x

I’ve been told to stop mine it can cause deep vein thrombosis and clots on the lung apparently x

Thanks girls! Going to ask surgeon if there’s any chance I can still take it, if not I’ll just have to stop! Xx
