im a smoker and smoked up until the day before my op….I had my ops15 days ago now, my op went well although had swelling to right boob straiht after op, its still there now, its high and like its not fell into the pocket (see photos), maybe its nothing to d with fags but it could be??? my scars healed beautifully though and my strapping was took off at 7 days po.
since then ive had a small glass of red wine and prob the equivalent of 2 cigs in 2 weeks…nipple death I think is caused if your a chain smoker…
I wasn’t told to not smoke before the op, only the surgeon asked if I smoked and how many, but was told not to smoke after… I doubt the odd few rags here n there wont hurt x
