Dr Mounir, 7th of March, Preston

Hi ladies, I know a couple of people have mentioned it on another post but just thought I’d set one up specifically for the same day and surgeon as mine. Saw Dr Mounir on 25th of Feb and he was lovely, felt so comfortable around him which is obviously great. He measured me as a 32D but this is an empty 32D with no or hardly any tissue filling the top part of the breast. I just said I wanted to look natural and for it to be in proportion with the rest of my body, so he let me try 375, 400, 425 and 450cc. I’ve gone for the 425 as although not much difference the 450s made me look and feel slightly top heavy, but at the same time I don’t want to have it done and then wish I’d gone bigger. So after trying the 400s out after the 450s I decided to meet in the middle and opt for the 425s. It’s difficult deciding on a size unless you know you want to go much much bigger then trying to get a size that’s right is tricky I think, just hope I’ve made the right decision. Hi Lucy! I’m in Preston on that day, can’t believe it’s just over a week to go! I’m having 350cc unders, I’m currently a 34b but empty as I have lost weight. Don’t feel nervous yet but sure on the day I will be! Need to get some sports bras this weekend but don’t know what sizes to get? Are you all ready? Xxxxx

Thanks for your response @katrina I know ?? I’ve got a countdown app on my phone and I love looking at it every day haha! Mine has happened so quickly, I only had my first appointment with my pc Lauren on the 16th of Feb, consultant and pre op on the 25th (yesterday)! But I’ve wanted it doing for so many years, even before I had my 3 babies and breastfed. Yeah I’m having unders too as was told by Dr Mounir that it would achieve the more natural look that I’m going for. I’m not nervous about anything except what they will look like after, I just want to be happy with them but to be fair they will look better than they do now. I’ve ordered my bras off Macom this evening, they say to just order the back size you are and the bra will adjust to the cup size whatever you go to. They are more expensive than most places but if they offer the best support then I don’t mind so much, mya have a discount code to use on the site which is better than nothing I suppose xx

Oh didn’t know they had a discount code.., what is it ? I migh just order off there! How many did you buy ? My sister had hers done with Mr Mounir like 3 years ago and hers are really good so I know we are in safe hands ha!! Did he mention anything to do with HP’s to you? I have seen loads of girls talking about it on here but no one said anything to me! Yeh can’t wait to see what they look lik after! I’m the same been wanting them foR u are but never had enough money lol I’m hoping for an early admission time so I can just get up and go, if I’m waiting all day I think I will get scared! Xxxxx

No I was thinking the same thing about HPs as he never mentioned it but I guess he would have if needed? Yeah I’d prefer an early admission time too to get it done and back home but to be fair I’m just so happy that it’s finally getting done ha. It would be better if I could be in early as have 3 children and I’m on my own, obviously I have people helping me out with them but I don’t really want them knowing too much. Saying that I’m not going to be able to hide the fact I’ve had surgery ?

? ok thankyou! Yeh think it would be hard to completely hide it lol! That’s alright then, I didn’t know if I was just being stupid and should of asked him! I was going to text my pc Charlotte but won’t bother now lol my boyfriend is taking me and staying with me, he only has that day off then il be alone at home which I’m scared about lol have visions of me being stuck in bed not being able to go to the loo or something ha! My mum is off so will be coming round to save me at some points! I have only taken a week off work so hoping to be up and about soonish after it. Is someone staying with you on the day? Getting more excited now we are talking about it ? lol xxxx

I’m in on the 7th all being well! Although at the moment it’s looking like my op could be postponed due to me developing a bloody stress rash!!!!! 🙁 hopefully it clears before then though!xxx

My mum is coming with me and then will be staying with me til the next day I would have thought. My situation is a little different as my youngest child Charlie who is 7 next month has cerebral palsy and can’t walk so I’m going to need plenty of help with him for at least 4 weeks. Thankfully he is at a school nearby and I will have help getting him to and from, but I’ll be able to rest during the day and then just need help on a morning and evening. I said to my mum she may as well just have the children to live with her and my dad for 4 weeks ?? Hopefully I’ll be well on the way to recovery in time for the Easter holidays, but I have friends who live close by that are willing to help when they can.

I can’t stop looking at before and after pics and catching up with all the convos on here, I love seeing and reading about other peoples journeys, especially if it is similar to mine. Xx

Oh no @Beth!! I’m sure it will clear up, just try to get out on a walk to get fresh air and some gentle exercise, might make you feel better. You’re no doubt stressing about the op? I’ve become obsessed with it, I can’t imagine what I’ll be like the day before haha x

Well sounds like your family and friends are really supportive so sure you will be fine once it’s done! Oh Beth sorry to hear that! Hopefully it clears up in time, still got over a week for it to go! I’m on a sudocrem routine at the moment haha its took it down a hell of a lot but im not seeing that it will be gone in a week! Will definitely get plenty of rest and fresh air to destress. But yes I was worried about sizes and the rash appeared! Hopefully it decides to leave soon! Thanks girlies @katrina @lucy! I’m also a bit worried by the sizes but I’m only going 1 size down from the biggest he offered me so I can’t see there being a massive difference anyway fingers crossed. Obviously we are all paying a lot of money out and want to be happy with the results, however I’ve said before anything has to better than what I’ve got now so we shall see. I think the forum is great, I didn’t think I’d use it but once I started I couldn’t stop. Love seeing everyone’s progress and it’s great for advice and putting minds at ease. What sizes have they offered you @Beth? And what are you now if you don’t mind me asking x

@lucy I’m a 32a/ ab and have been offered 325, 350 and 375 under the muscle high profile but I might ask to go 300cc ahaha! I’m terrified of boobs coming out too big! Xxx

I’m stuck with what size! I can’t decide between 325 and 350’so just ordered both and going to decide on the day. Currently a 34b. Hope you feel better soon chick ? Xxx

It’s a tough one isn’t it @Beth, but I think that if you just reiterate the look you want to achieve then Dr Mounir will pick the right implant size for you. In a weeks time all of us are going to be buzzing with emotions from being excited to being nervous haha….I cannot blooming wait!

Lucy I think I’m certain on 450cc high profile overs… I’m 5ft2 9st and currently 34b. I just hear so much of people regretting they didn’t go bigger so opting for my highest option, also I have enough tissue for overs 🙂 what are you hoping for? Xx

Well I thought my bra size was a 34b but he said I was 32D!! I said I wanted to be about a DD to be in proportion with my body but this was before he told me what size I actually was. I’ve gone for 425 under and the biggest he gave me to try was 450. I think I’ll be happy with 425 as I don’t want huge boobs just want them to be fuller really although there’s not much difference. I’ve read that you lose some implant size if you go under, so when I go and see Dr Mounir on the day I will ask this and mention if it’s worth me going for 450s. So many different stories on here, women have started out smaller than what I’ve been measured and had the same implant and are measuring big, i just want to be in proportion and to be able to wear dresses without bras etc haha! Not too much to ask is it? x

Haha I understand what you mean lol, so many people choosing same implant but look and measure so different lol. Anyhow, 1 WEEK TODAY!!!! xxx

Eeeeek I know… So exciting! What’s everyone taking to the hospital with them? I’m only a day case but they recommend taking some overnight things just in case. The one week countdown is officially on…can’t wait to get an admission time now ? Xx

Hi, I’m having 350cc with an uplift, I’m just hoping they will be big enough. Having an uplift limits the size of the implants but just some bigger boobies will be good for me ha ha. I was told by doctor Mounir that I measured up at a D but I could never wear a D bra now unless I put a full toilet roll down the bra ha ha. I’m more of a B/C depending on the bra. I’m really excited now, just want to find out admission time and this week to just fly by xx

It’s difficult when you see so many different outcomes on here with similar starting sizes and size implants! Not got an admission time yet no, I can’t remember when she said it would be but I think it was about 3 days before x

Hey Girls, I went for my last app with surgeon today – Im going for 430cc UHP overs 🙂 They said we should get admission time day before however as it will be a Sunday, were likely to receive an email on Saturday. xxx

I bought a travel pillow today so my neck is more supported when I’m sleeping at an angle, also bought a 6ft pillow to support my back haha. Some goodies for after the op and one of my Macom bras has arrived today, tried it on and it felt great…just know it’s going to be brilliant support. Come on Monday!! X

My Macon bra was really short on my boobs and Dosent cover the top of my boobs so the nurse told me not to wear that and get a full coverage one to support them properly ? Xx

Which Macom bra did you get @Danni as I know there are a few different ones. I’ve got the signature ones which seem quite long in the body, but I guess it may depend on how big you go however it shouldn’t X

I’ve done loads of meal prep today for next week as don’t want to rely too much on family and friends, so impressed with myself haha! Also don’t want to be tempted by takeaways as need to be eating well to aid with recovery besides which I can’t afford now after this ?? x
