    Hi girls
I’m nearly 10 week post op n I’m not feeling the best. My boobs feel weird when I don’t wear a bra almost like there too heavy for my body or something? My left boob still looks higher up than my right n im worried it’s never gonna drop and look the same again?! I only like my boobs in bras I don’t like them when I have no clothes on and that was the whole point of getting them done!! 🙁 xx

Oh hun I thought I was the only girl who hated her post op boobs! I got mine done two weeks ago and honestly I can’t see that they are ever gonna look like I hoped for. I got the same as you and mine are still high, hard and look flat cos my skin is so tight still, I can’t see that they will ever drop into the crease at all, I’m gonna be Dr Traynors one failure case cos I’ve always had shit boobs and at the moment I can’t see they will ever look good. Honestly babe if I had you boobs I’d be over the moon (I’m not in any way saying how u feel is wrong tho) xx

Aww Kelly your still so early on post op!! I felt awful at 2 week, completely full of regret. They will change so much I really wouldn’t worry yourself too much at this stage of your recovery. Mine were still hard and pointy and high up at 2 week. Don’t think they actually made a lot of change until around 5 weeks if I’m honest. I’m just hoping my left drops a little more, they still feel a bit tender to touch as well especially if I’m lying on my side.
Things will defo start looking up for you though Hun I’m sure of it. You won’t be a failure case! I know how u feel though I was so so impatient and wanted perfect results within days after surgery it just takes a lot of time. I have ups and down days with mine. Today being a bad! I’m skint now and I just wish I’d stayed with my natural boobs xxx

Aww thanks Gina, that really means a lot to me. Hopefully they will start to change for the better soon. Before surgery I thought that as soon as they had been done I’d be in love with them straight away (no chance!). I’ve also felt so emotional and quite down, not what I expected at all. Have u spoken to your nurse for some reassurance hun? I do honestly think your boobs are fab xxx

Awwww Kelly. Without it sounding wrong, i am so so glad you feel the way you do because now i know its normal. Im so down and emotional. I feel utterly depressed. Think because im off work and stuck at home doesnt help either. Im so used to such a busy lifestyle. I love my boobs but im so so fed up of the pain and aches and not being able to do anythinf for myself. Im sick of not being able to shower or drive. Its gettinf me down majorly. Xxx

    Hi Rachel

im sorry to hear you are feeling down too, I guess this is the not so great side of our procedure that you don’t hear about that much. When you are able to get out and about it does help massively. Im the same, im always busy so when I cant do what I normally would its so frustrating. Now that I can get out and finally drive (I was two weeks post op before it felt even slightly comfortable for me) I feel a lot more like myself. Don’t get me wrong im still feeling pretty down as I expected id love my new boobs but at almost three weeks post op im still not in love with them – I really do hope ill be eating those words in a few weeks!! xxx

    Hi lovely ladies,

I know this feeling! I was miserable and went through so many phases of liking them and hating them. But they change for months so just be patient. I’m 5 months post op and they’ve changed so much each month. They’ve been wonky, too big, too small, they’ve been firm then softened, my scars were above the crease, my stitches have only just fully dissolved. I could still feel them up until last month. But I’m in love with them now. It’s a long process but remember they will change for a while so hang in there!!

Im hanging in there…!! This is probably my fave post atm. I had my 2 week PO appointmemt today… all dressing removed and i can shower and lie flat… HOORAY!! Only thing is now im absolutely pooping myself that my soprts bra is going to rub on my incisions and open them up. I have little dressing to protect them but purrkng them in place is a major tuffie!!!! I have bloody horrific blisters where my sports bras have been rubbing.

Ah yay! I’ll never forget my first proper shower after my op! Haha. Have you got a proper little bandage thing to put on them? I had these little steri strips but it made me feel ill to peel them off! They won’t open don’t worry haha, it feels like they’re only one stretch away from ripping open but they’re stitched pretty tight. I couldn’t lift my arms up cos I thought they’d fall out the incisions haha! Oh god blisters don’t sound nice! 🙁 have you got a Macom? Maybe get a cotton one, I had a really soft m&s one. It’s far from a glamorous process :/ what cc did you go for? Xx

@Lauren Thanks Hunny for the reassurance. I feel like there just gunna fall out lol. The blisters are so so sore. Iv just changed my macom for another extreme high impact bra from m&s and its great. Just feels really tight. Yeah i have the littlw dressings but there only to our inplace so they are hard to put in place when putting the bra on lol. Im so freeking excited. When will i notice them softeninf?? Been told to keep on using rhe ibuprofen so the swelling goes down?? Is that normal?? Xxx

Hey babe! Felt like I haven’t spoken to you in ages! Sorry to hear you’re feeling down but your boobs look amazing!! I can’t believe how quick time has flown!! I’m not completely happy with mine but they are so much better than what they were. Hang on in there though as they’ll still change loads! I’m still in my sports bra. At my 6 week apt I was told I couldn’t wear any underwired bras. I’ve just not got round to buying any others though so the sports bra has stayed longer than I originally wanted it to haha. Xxxxx

Charlotte they look amazing! Just realised I’m speaking to you on 2 different threads ha I’ll just reply on this one. Take regular pictures of them so you notice the changes..that helped me so I could see I was getting somewhere, even if it’s slow. Rachel mine softened around 8weeks ish maybe a bit longer. It’s weird they’re soft but they’re not if that makes sense..they’re squidgey to poke but they don’t jiggle- very strange still trying to get used to it lol. And I didn’t really take anything after I finished what they gave me, felt a bit weird with all the drugs! But ibuprofen or any anti inflammatory should help reduce the swelling. Mine were swollen for quite a while, even my nipples!! Have lots of pics on my profile of different stages so feel free to have a look! X
