First Consultation today.. Feel embarassed.. (34aaa)

Hello ladies,

This is my first post. I have my first consultation on Monday. I’m currently a 34aa(possibly even an aaa – I am completely flat!) and I’ve wanted a breast enlargement for the last 8 years.

I am 100% ready to have the surgery and get my new boobies, but I can’t shake my anxiety about having to take my bra off and show the P/C / Surgeon my 34aaa. It sounds silly but I have always kept myself covered up and wore padded bra’s and I really need some advice / support on how to feel not embarrassed about having to expose myself.. I know they see it all the time but It’s a very personal thing to me.. 🙁 I cancelled my last appointment because of how nervous I was about having to take my bra off!

Just think they’ve seen it all. You don’t have to show your pc. If she or the chaperone is in the room and you feel uncomfortable, you can ask to go behind the screen so it’s just you and the surgeon.
Its all over so fast, they just have a look and take some measurements and then you’re done. Just think, you have to do this to get to the next step.
You’re showing the person who has the potential to change your life. It’s the best thing I ever did xx

Hey huni, I know its awful but honestly please don’t worry 🙂
I’m a 34aa absolutely nothing there and felt the same way you do, i was so worried before getting there.
Is this your first consultation with PC or with a surgeon?
If it is with your PC you won’t have to take your top off, they just talk through why you want it, and what you hope to achieve. It’s not until meeting the surgeon that you have to get undressed 🙂
Which clinic are you looking at? I would recommend seeing Mr Singh as your surgeon, he is lovely. Makes you feel totally at ease and really knows his stuff 🙂

Hi Lucy thanks for your response it really helps. I don’t really know what to expect at the consultation. Am I likely to meet the surgeon today? I can’t wait to have the surgery, like you say it will change my life 🙂

Hi Karis! I know they’ve seen it all but i feel like a freak with how tiny I am 🙁 I’m 5ft 9, 9 stone size 8. So I’m tall and super skinny and I just look odd, haha. I am hoping to get to a C/D but am a bit of a surgery Virgin I don’t know what type of implant I would like so hoping I find some answers at the consultation. It will be with the PC not surgeon x

How soon after the first consultation was your surgery? I’d like it done as soon as possible but want to be well informed first. X

Aww hun don’t feel embarrassed, I’m a 34AA too, a very small one! I was nervous before my consultation for the exact Same reason but once you’re in there you’re fine, the surgeon has seen all sorts of sizes and shapes boobs, and it’s their profession to give you more confidence in yourself! I honestly wouldn’t worry about it 🙂 x

Try not to worry babe, they see all different types of boobs everyday, try to think of it as in they’re not looking at your boobs and judging them they’re looking at what they will do with them. Xx

@ faith hi hun we have all been in your shoes. Please don’t worry and once your surgery is done you won’t be able to stop showing everyone lol

I was the same, was so nervous and felt a bit silly taking my top and bra off (I thought I was aa but was told I’m aaa!) but it only lasted a minute or so then you stop worrying. So id say just know that you will feel nervous and that’s fine, just be aware of it, know that it’ll be over before you know it and don’t let it control you. Think of the positives! 🙂 xx

What size of implant did you go for or you not been offered? Glad you got over your fear of showing people you boobies. Im same my hubby dont even get to see me topless and i never look at them only when im in shower or putting the extra padded bras on x
