First shower and last bandages off. 10days PO 350hp

Incisions healing well. Feel amazing after a shower.
Took half an hour but loved it all ? happy healing all

Ps I thought the bows looked festive ?

Hey hun u look great ? can i ask are you using any soap or anything on your incisions? I had my first shower yesterday but washed my hair seperatly because i was so scared of getting anything in my incisions xxx

@mrssheppard2be my nurse said use sanex shower gel because it’s antibacterial and it’ll be ok for your incisions as long as you don’t put it directly on it xx

@mrssheppard2be iv literally been doing what u have been doing! Iv had a shower then got out and washed my hair over the bath coz iv been 2 scared to get soap in my incisions lol even shaving my armpits iv been scared when the soap starts slipping down ?? looool x

Lisa, no I just had a normal
Shower. My incisions are healing really well so just made sure it washed off fully each time and rinsed my insicions with water and gently stroked them. Didn’t put any moisturiser on or anything.

Don’t be too afraid. The way I see it, I’ve had deep open cuts before from slipping with the razor on my legs or chipping at my ankle when I’ve shaved too low ?, I’d never put suds on them but water and washing over doesn’t hurt ☺️ X

I had my first shower tonight, what an AMAZING feeling haha, nothing like having a proper shower! I washed my hair at the same time too, the nurse said to me it would be ok as long as I don’t put soap on the incisions directly, letting the suds wash over them should be fine 🙂

I am currently in the research stage and because I’m running the London Marathon I won’t be able to get them done until after April.

Nicola they look really well. Did you have overs or unders? Who was your surgeon? Im having 350HP unders and would be really impressed if mine looked like yours! I’ve not seen many recent photos of what im having so seeing them is such a relief when I do. X
