Hi Ladies, I’m considering a BA to take me from a 34b to a D but not sure if overs or unders would suit me better. I want a natural look but I have a physical job and regularly workout in the gym with weights. I don’t want to stop working my arms and chest or have strange distortion(!) but I worry that overs don’t look as natural and they come with more risks..

Anyone on here been in a similar position? Any smaller busted girls who went with overs? Any pics/advice would be great! 🙂

Hi Hun I’m having overs in just under two weeks it depends how much breast tissue you have I’m an empty 34a/b and the dr advised overs are better for me if you have enough breast tissue overs can look natural to xx

Ahh thanks Hun I will ask at my consultation tomorrow, seems if you get offered overs that’s good ( less pain/easier recovery). Are you worried about capsicular contraction/bottoming out/sagging? X

Hi hun, i did so much research on this before my op because i pole dance. I read that some women who had unders that did pole dancing and weight lifting found that as the pecs contracted they would flatten the breast down into an odd shape – it was all momentarily as the movement was done but it was something that i really didn’t want happening! As a result i ended up going for overs with dr singh 🙂

Sometimes you are not given an option of overs at all, in my case I wasn’t as I have no breast tissue and can barely pinch half an inch. You also have to tell your surgeon what kind of level of fitness you do (specially chest and arms) and how heavy you lift. I know girls who compete in Physique, Bikini Fitness and Body Building and most of them have had unders due to low body fat and no breast tissue and have no problems with exercising but it took them a while to go back to the weights they did prior to surgery. Anyhow your surgeon will know better. Good luck, keep us posted xxx

There’s another forum that is for women body builders and BA, I can’t remember which but basically some were saying that having overs looks odd as there’s no body fat to cover them and they look like a ball in a sack. And if you have them under there’s a chance after a while they move aside under constant weight of he at lifting. This one woman had them redone after 3-4 Years because of that and in the end decided not to work the chest muscles and protect her investment..

Went for my first consultation with Katie my patient advisor. So many questions but really only my surgeon can answer! Are partials the same as unders? Will I be able to train my upper body as much as I do now?
She recommended I go to see dr Marchellino, I have been told he’s very good at answering questions, but quite new to mya. Anyone had him before?? X

Thanks for the replies girls, it’s really reassuring that a lot of people are having partials/unders without issues. I think I just googled too many horror stories (mostly old vids from America of women’s boobs flapping up when they flex!) and got myself worried. I have a surgeons consultation in nov, which seems a long time to wait, then I’m aiming to have surgery in fen next year xx
