Hi Ladies, this is my first post I love this support network! I was wondering if anybody could help me with a query I have! I’ve been reading that when you have a breast enlargement, all jewellery should be removed for surgery due to metal causing burns etc I completely understand and I’m happy to remove mine however I am also currently wearing a fixed brace on my top teeth which has plastic, elastic and a metal wire! There is a chance it could be off for my surgery but not positive yet!! Does anyone know if wouldn’t be allowed surgery if it was still in!? Sorry for the essay! Xx

I had my op on Saturday and I have a fixed retainer top and bottom and it was fine. I also kept my wedding ring on which they taped and I had to sign about possibility of it causing a burn, but it didn’t .xx
