Getting nervous now!

I’m due for surgery on Sunday and getting really nervous now, I haven’t even pack my bag…..? And leaving leaving for London tomorrow. Can anyone give me a kinda run through with what happens when you get to hospital? My check in time is 7.30. Also need to ask for a anti sickness as whenever I have ga I’m really sick!

I’m having 375 overs and quite nervous about drains and strapping but I guess have to wait and see what happens.

Hi Katie … Try not to be nervous ? When you get to the hospital they will take you to your room and you’ll get changed into a gown and some fabulous paper knickers !! You’ll need to do a wee sample then as they do a pregnancy test. You’ll see your surgeon who will have a chat and mark you with agreed implants size ready for surgery – he may give you a rough estimate on time till surgery. The anaesthetist will come and meet you and your nurse will do bp checks and just make sure your ok. Then you just chill till they come for you. There is a tv your room. They will give you anti sickness anyway ..but just tell them you will need it. Everybody is really lovely there.
After surgery you’ll be taken back to your room and the nurse will again keep a check on you and once your feeling awake properly you’ll be offered tea & toast.
The drains really don’t hurt when taken out ..it’s just a funny air bubble feeling.
You stay at the hospital for at least 4 hours after surgery before they discharge you.

I think so… They’re still strapped up and have a band across them (which is tight). But I think I’m happy! I’m having the strapping removed on Wednesday so will be able to see more then 🙂 I have a pic from the day after surgery where they look nice, but they’re still very tight in the skin and will need some time to drop 🙂 I had moderate plus 400cc unders xxx

I had 390 overs, I got to the hospital 7.30 and they checked me in , have me my sexy stockings n gown lol then 8.30 walked down to theatre for my GA! Next thing I know I’m waking up! I had boobs!! was back up to my room for 10am and actually felt fine! I’m the same though I needed anti sickness through the drip to stop me feeling nauseous then I just chilled out watching tv all day until my surgeon came to check on me and I went home about 5.30. Good luck tomorrow it’s definitely the best thing you’ll ever do for yourself xx
