Girls how long after surgery did you all drive?!

Hi girls I’m 6 days post of and pain free, have great use of my arms etc and really could do my my independence back and to start driving. I thought I read somewhere that it’s two weeks and I don’t want to be uninsured or anything bad like that but in my MYA notes it just says do driving 48 hours after anesthetic xx

I drove 6 days post op, next day I had my 1 week post op check up with the nurse she asked me if I have drove yet.. And she said I’m fine to now if I want just to take it easy when changing gears. I thought it was 2 weeks aswell personally I think it’s what the nurse thinks when she sees you x

My nurse said 2 weeks but i drove on day 9, i just made sure the first time i went out it was a quiet time and i didnt go far just to make sure i felt ok! X

Ment to be 14 days beaut xxx

I didn’t drive until 2 weeks post op but that was mostly to do with my insurance, i wasn’t covered until 2 weeks after my op xx
