So it’s my birthday this week and I’m going out for it on Saturday. I’ll be 2 weeks and 3 days PO then and obviously want to where a nice outfit. My PC said before my op that I’ll be fine to go braless just for a that evening as long as I wear a tight top/dress. But my nurse said no and to be careful no one knocks me.
I’d rather be safe than sorry but not sure what to do now.
I was thinking to maybe wear a sports bra with thinner straps. Like my Calvin Klein one?
Has anyone gone braless? I don’t think I would now the nurse said no but finding an outfit to hide the sports bra is hard xx

Sorry I’m of no use but supposed to be out next weekend and will be just under 3 weeks so I’m following! I just thought I’d have to buy a cheapo sports bra (one of the thinner ones shaped more like a normal bra) so it would be easier to hide but still not the easiest task! X

Have you girls got macoms? I wouldn’t dare to go braless that soon because all it takes is an accidental knock and you could end up in a bad way! I’m finding my macom is super easy to cover up under clothes. I’m using pads from an old bikini underneath to cover my nipples and give a bit of structure and then wearing a vest over the top before I put my outfit on and you can’t tell I’m not wearing a normal bra at all!

Oh I didn’t realise the macoms were like that. Ok maybe I’ll have a look at them, thank you!
No I can’t go braless anyway, scares me taking my bra off for five mins now lol xx

they’re not cheap either, I might just buy a sports bra with thinner straps. Or wear my Calvin one if it works with my outfit x

My Macom is so uncomfortable that I’ve been wearing a lace bra most of the time because it’s comfier and feels really supportive too. Been out twice without a bra on too. This was last night at 2 weeks 3 days post op xxx

I wouldn’t risk it they need supporting so much for the first 6weeks I’m having a re opp in just over a week because me implants have dropped to low if you want them to stay nice and high now if the time to look after them xx

Yeh I’m definitely not going braless. I was quite surprised my PC said it would be OK to be honest. I’ll just stick to wearing my sports bra and hope I can find a nice top/dress to wear.
    Thanks girls xx
