Got measured at 32 E after 6 week check up but have some bra questions…

Had my 6 week check up today then went to get measured, I got 325 HP unders from a large 32b/ small 32c and got measured as a 32 E!! My surgeon said only 350’s might take me to the D/DD I was after so they definitely under estimate cup size!

Did anyone else get told they had to wait for another 2 weeks to wear an under wire bra and that they had to sleep in sports bra for another 6 weeks?

From reading I thought you could wear bras from 6 week check up and that would be the end of the sports bras so was really disappointed to hear this, is this just my nurse or have others been told the same? X

Hi Hun mr kazzazi said I could get measured at 8 weeks but he advised to wear sports bra as much as possible. He also said under wires can cause damage to the implants if worn too much. In 3 weeks I will be 1 year post op and I still wear my sports bra for work and bed. I only wear under wires at weekends. You find that under wires are so in comfortable at first you can only wear them for a few hours at a time.
I Definetly got more than I bargained for I was a 32a pre op and had 375 hp partials and now I am a 32 e/ f depending on bra style.
I also advise don’t buy loads of bras to begin with as I did then at 11-13 weeks my muscle relaxed more and I went up to the f cup.

It also depends on how you’ve healed aswell I would follow the nurses advice as she has given that to you I will be 3 years post op in Feb and I still wear a sports bra sometimes and to sleep in. I don’t wear one as tight as what you have to have post op it’s more to keep them out my way so I can sleep on my front x

I was told 6 weeks with my previous surgery 275hp partials. Ive just had revision with 350 teardrop unders and have been sold by surgeon at 1 week check to wear sports bra and no underwire for 3 months 🙁 xx

Thanks Alex, I was hoping it was just my nurse being extra cautious but apparently not. I’d read everywhere that 6 weeks you can start wearing bras and sleeping normally so it’s a bit gutting for that not to be the case xx
