Ah I was just going to ask this! I’m 4 weeks PO now and desperate to back to exercise, with cardio do you think it would be better to avoid running for a few more weeks and just focus on cycling or something?

Feel like I’ve put a ton of weight on in such a short time!
    Xx

I feel up to it now and I need to lol I’m gonna attempt zumba on Tuesday with 2 sports bras and not jump as much as I did lol I don’t think I would attempt running but that’s cos I can’t run to save my life!!! Gonna try body pump as well but with very light weight especially on the chest track until I’m sure it won’t hurt x

i would say defo not to do any heavy wieghtliftng yet, i know they say 6 weeks but that would only be light exercise not heavy training or deadlifts, after all you dont want to end up damaging ur self
A woman know ended up with capsular contraction as she rushed back to the gym too soon and had to get a re op
speak to your pc and surgeon for a second opinion, but honestly its not worth rushing back xx

I was 5 weeks post op on wed I started back at the gym last week doing gentle exercises but couldn’t resist I’ve been squatting, using the leg press, bike, treadmill etc. I’ve got a really good sports bra and my boobs don’t move. Jut listen to your body. Some tricep work pulls a little so I’ve not done any since I first tried on Monday and also haven’t done any chest work either. Everyone’s different just be very careful and don’t carry on anything that aches even just a little xx

at about 4 weeks i started running again but wore two shock absorber ultimate run bras on top of each other 🙂 or one with a crop top over… both worked for making sure my boobs didn’t move around. If you are still numb around your scars be very careful as you won’t be aware if you are hurting them.

this is the one thing im worried about as training is a big part of my life, especially weight training. i’ll be back training the moment i feel better. 4 weeks maximum. will just be leaving out chest and back and some other exercises out.
