    I had implants done at mya approx 4 years ago. I was never very happy with them but after a bad experience and about 6 months to heal I put up with them. They have now started to get bad rippling of the implants and they are out of shape. They look awful. Any advice on my option, if I am covered for a re-op. Or anybody had a similar situation thanks x

    I’m sure it’s 5 years aftercare cover we get from Mya so you should still be covered! Xx

    Aw no! Go ahead anyway and see Dr traynor and hopefully he will be able to help you some how. It’s a shame you’ve not been happy with them after all this time xx

    @zoeee oh no, I really hope you’re covered 🙁
    When did you start to notice the rippling? Have you lost or gained any weight? X

    I did ask this question and i think they said we are not covered for rippling because sometimes rippling occurs when you lose weight and there isn’t much fat between the implant and your skin.

    There wasn’t much to the cover to be honest that was one of the cons of choosing Mya. That and they seem to not reply or get back to people when they have a problem. Only when you make a post like this, they all of a sudden get in contact.

    This is just what I’ve noticed over the past few weeks. Xx

    Hey Hun I know how you feel I have rippling after 4 weeks PO I saw my surgeon about it last week and he said he would do a re-op and or smaller implants in if im still not happy after 6 months. I never asked the question about me having to pay for it I was just told to massage the area and see if it improves in time. Have you seen anyone about it and what did they say? Xx

    Oh no. I don’t know much about rippling.. I would bring it up at your 6 week check tho and let them know it’s really affecting you and see what advice they can give you. If your worried and want to speak to someone before that you should call the clinic and speak with The nurse & she might make you feel a little bit better x sorry not much good of a reply x

    Hi, I’m five weeks post op now and I have rippling and one doesn’t seem to be sitting right. Almost like the pocket too big. I rang my PC and she said I had to wait til my 6 week check to see the nurse and then would see the surgeon at 12 weeks. He doesn’t like to see people before then as its too early to tell or something. I’m really dissapointed with them. Waited so long to get them done and while I love the size it’s just how they look :(. Hoping they will do something but not going to get hopes up to much X

    @ellie it’s on one boob literally across to the nipper 🙁
    Thanks for your support.

    I feel exactly the same Suzanne, the pocket feels to big and causes me discomfort.

    Guess I’ll wait till 6 weeks check up x

    Oh dear, this is the only thing that worries me about losing weight, as been told rippling happens when you lose weight after having implants. I hope they sort all problems with it, Goodluck girls x

    I just browsed online about rippling, and seen every implant has it, some worse than others. Apparently, we can all have it, when we lean forward???? Do normal boobs do that?
