Holiday 8weeks after BA??

Hi

I’ve got my BA on 1st of may and I’m going to tennerife 8 weeks later on 29th of june.

Worried this is too soon after my op to be going away, but it was the earliest date I could get.

Anyone else been on holiday this soon after a BA? Or any reassurance that this will be ok?

Hi there, I just had my pre-op and was advised short haul after 2 weeks, then long haul after 6 weeks. You can also wear flight socks and walk around to help blood flow better x

I’m in same boat as you hun, I’ve got my ba next wed and go to turkey July 14th my pc said its fine to go in pool etc 6weeks after so all should be fine. Xx

hey, im getting my ba done on 15th may already booked tenerife for 23rd june! flyings only 2 weeks, so would just be carefull with the sun as mega hot then! may see you there becky x

Thanks girls, feel abit better now! … Wanted my op at least 12weeks before but was all booked up until 1st may! …. It is mainly the sun I was worried about and the pool, in case of infection but if you’ve been told its fine sabby83 then sure it should be

Oh and I wanted to get back In the gym before I went away!! Haha

Im going in 3 weeks (Im 9 weeks PO today), guessing that should be ok, just be careful of the scars in the sun!
