    Hi!
I had mine done end of Oct so it fell half term week
    I have 2 girls 9 & 6.
I debated for ages but decided to tell my eldest the truth. She thought it was hilarious. She was also a massive help the op week getting her sister drinks etc.
I didnt directly tell the little one, my hubby just explained my boobys might hurt so she didnt jump or lay on me and she was fine. Never questioned it.
    Good Luck! xx

I have a 4 year old and I told him that I had to go hospital and have an operation so I will be sore and poorly for a while so he wouldnt be able to jump all over me and he seemed to take it well! And when he sat on my I just reminded him that he can sit on me but he needed to be very careful coz mummy had sore boobies looool x

Well hahaha this is an awkward one I have 2 children my little boy is 6 (although he thinks he’s 16) and my little girl is 4, I was originally planning on telling them that the doctor had to fix something on my boob but then me and my sister both booked are BA for the same day and my son doesn’t miss a trick so I know he would of been like ‘oh so did he fix auntie Claire’s boob aswell’ haha so when I got home from surgery the first like he said was oh my word mum did he do both your boobs there like cannon balls! Haha so I sat down and explained to him the doctor made them a it bigger for mummy and he said oh good they look well better now, he knows he can’t really talk about boobs or other private parts outside the house anyway so I no he won’t tell any1 in school or anything but i can imagine him telling his cousins when there all in there nannas hahaha ?? xxx

Thanks for all the advice girls! Had my op on wed and everything went well! So far have told my girls ive hurt my back at the gym (i am walking like i have an injury at the min anyways ?) and with my baggy pjs on my boobs dont look massive anyways! So far the girls have taken this fine and know to be gentle around me and ask daddy for help for a few days instead of mammy!

    ?☺️? x
