How long do you have to sleep upright for?

Really just want a comfy nights sleep ! How long have people usually slept upright for? Xx

I was sleeping on my side day 5 x

I slept upright for the first and second night but was getting sick of not sleeping so I’ve been sleeping basically flat but with my head and shoulders slightly propped up its much more comfortable x

I was told to sleep upright for 2 weeks then slightly lower but not totally flat and not on my side until my 6 wks check x
