i wasn't bandaged up – only had plasters over stitches, anyone else?

I didnt get strapping – just plasters over my scars which i found strange as everyone seems to have been bandaged up so i’ll be asking my nurse on fri why i didnt? glad though as i got to see my puppies straight away! Hope it doesn’t affect anything though as in the way they settle etc

I basn’t strapped up hun I just had dressings over my wounds, I think different surgeons use different techniques depends what they prefer x

i was the same as you and like you say its great coz u do get to see them straight away 🙂

thanks girls coz i also had drains in after the op and not everyone does but the nurse said that the surgeon likes to use them to reduce swelling whether its desperately needed or not. All different! Good to know its not just me as everyone else on here i’ve read about has had bandages. Hope your both well and love ur new boobs. they cost enough so i hope we all do 🙂

I was terrified that i’d have drains more than the op itself lol I was so glad when my surgeon said he didn’t use them x happy healing hun enjoy those new boobs x

Thanks Kristy. The drains didnt bother me too much and they didnt hurt coming out thank gosh, could just feel a bubbily feel through my boobs! happy healing to u too x

faith23 dont worry about the drains yes there a scary thought but end of the day they help keep swelling down so it makes them more comfortable in the long run . also its not a really painfull experiance its just uncomfortable, one of mine was actually stuck and they had a bit of a tuff time getting it out but even that was just more of a sharp jolt every now n then as they were freeing it, nothing to unbearable and the side that came out fine was just kinda bubbly feeling as it pulled out .if it was a major pain they would not do it with out pain numbing stuff xx and hey its worth it its all part of getting new boobies 🙂

Aw i know, i think its just nerves tbh but hopefully should be fine !!! Hearing good stories about mounir too so im happy xx

i had drains and no strapping so i was very pleased , drains dnt hurt wat so ever cumin out just a wierd sensation
