incision opened/not healing :(

had to go to the nurse today as my incision is still open a bit at the edge of my scar .. big gutted, feels like my left boob is done nothing but give me jip!
she put some plaster with iodine i think to dry it up, and told me to leave it one for a week. and be careful taking it off.. so it doesnt pull any scabs (ew) off with it.
has anyone else had a bit of a slow healer?? as in the incisions.. and how can i heal quicker?!?! lol. any magic pills?

apart from that, really impressed with mya and how quick they saw me. cant fault them with their aftercare so far xxxx

well you know how lucky ive been well put on a dressing because of a teeny weency drop of blood staining bra also to stop some of the dreaded bra rub

well i’ve stocked up on plasters and dressings lol .. and gonna point blank refuse anything strenuous at work on thrusday ha xxx

I had the same thing hun. Left the dressing with inidine on for a week and that did the trick. All healed now & scars looking really neat so dont worry, it will sort its self out. X

I was exactly the same I wasn’t fully healed until 6-7 weeks post op mine kept on opening too…I’m 13 weeks post op now my scars are so neat..they’ll heal in time and you’ll be happy with the results x

Thanks girls. Reassuring knowing the same has happened to you both and your both happy now. In the moment just feels like its never going to heal. Been looking into something called scarguard aswell. Might get some for when i get the go ahead and use aswell as bio oil. 🙂 xxxx
