Don’t worry if you struggle with tablets a liquid form is usually available for most painkillers I’m post op so can’t comment on the pain but work in a pharmacy so don’t let the pain scare you away 🙂 no pain no gain xxxxxxx

I’m such a paranoid person I’ll think my boobs are going to fall of when I walk! I’m so excited though it’ll be good. Xx

Hi Rosie! I had mine done Saturday & I honestly don’t think I was prepared. I have a high pain threshold and thought i would be absolutely fine, but honestly it’s been more painful that I thourht. It’s manageable, I’ve been out & about today. But the combination of different pains/aches/twinges is definitely weird!
Everyone is different though so you may find it okay 🙂
They give you antibiotics though which you’ll need to take! Xx

    Hiya Rosie,
For me it’s more uncomfortable than painful. I’ve been making sure I take my pain killers on time and getting plenty of rest, which has helped. Don’t worry!

It’s not bad at all- I’m one week post op and doing everything as I was before new boobs! It’s just awkward. Don’t worry about what everyone else writes- it’s not pain free but take your full dose of painkillers and you should be fine! I was 🙂 after day 4 it got much better

I’m 8 weeks PO and a massive whimp! Most of my friends thought I wouldn’t cope haha.. It’s totallr bareable though – more of a strange heavy feeling and you do go through a lot of changes over the first few weeks/months – your body is wondering what the hell is happening! But it’s conpletelt barable, more discomfort than pain xx

I honestly think it depends on each person, I’ve heard some girls say they were in pain but I felt absolutely fine! The worst I experienced was a bit of discomfort but I’d say I was pretty healthy before my op so don’t know if that played a big part. I stopped taking the cocodamol about 2-3 days post op as I felt like I didn’t need it, I was just taking them because I had them. So instead I just took paracetamol as and when I felt I needed it, which was only only once or twice, and I was fine 🙂
