Is this infected?

Girls, I’ve just come in from a night out, my right boob had been a bit sore for a few days and I it was hitting a bit whilst I was out so I took a pic and this is what it looked like ? I think it may be infected, I’m so worried! I’m going to email this to my nurse now but not sure is she will answer over the weekend. Hope it’s okay!! Have any of your incisions looked like this?! Xxx

Hi Hun I’m no expert but I would phone your nurse straight away and say you want to be put on antibiotics infections are so easy to catch at this stage x

ouch that looks sore! i would put a dressing over it and phone your nurse asap, is it weeping? xx

That looks so sore, deffinatly contact your nurse, I got told there is a out of hours nurse maby try her if yours doent anser?. Have you wore anytbing that could of rubbed on it? xx

Thanks for the replies girls, it looks even worse now ? I’m struggling to get through to the Chelmsford clinic so I think I’ll just have to ring there emergeny number. Or I might just go down there now as its only 10 mins from my house! Hopefully I’ll just need some antibiotics and it’s nothing worse xxx

@aparren I went in and saw the nurse on Sarurday and she didn’t think it was infected but has taken a swab to find out for sure. There was a build up of fluid in it though which she squeezed out (gross!). I was okay yesterday but today at work i could see that it has been leaking a lot. I work at a vets so got one of the vet nurses to change my dressing for me and flush it with some saline! I’ve got an appointment tomorrow evening with the nurse so hopefully she’ll have my swab results back and give me some antibiotics or somthing. I just want them to be healed now! Xx
