ITCHING

Please give advice how do I stop the itching, I’m 3 days po in strapping and my Macom. Help please!!!!!

I was really itchy too!! Apparently it shows its healing! Just have to try and ignore it! I did find ice packs helped a little bit! Obviously not directly onto the skin wrapped in a tea towel or something 🙂 x x

Rather than full on itching, whenever I get itches, I find that tracing my finger over the itch with slight pressure over my sports bra really helped relieve it. It’s not really recommended to use any itch relief creams or rawly scratch the itch and this would disturb your wound x

Try itching a different place so sat your leg or something I do that and find it works even I’ve got an itch I can’t itch x

I found that part of the itching was due to the codeine I was taking too. It’s one of the side effects of the pain killers. Piriton helps with that though. X

Am nearly 4 weeks post op am still itching its jus means your getting better it’s driving me mad!
