macom bra sizing

i’ve had my consultation with Dr Traynor, i haven’t had my pre op with the nurse yet. I haven’t been told anything about the macom bras, i’m just wondering how do you know which size to get?

I got told to just get large, Im only 32 back normally but my surgeon said people always make the mistake of getting normal back size.
Everyone else seems to have stuck with their usual back size but im just doing what im told lol xx

Think they only say to go larger due to swelling…. Ask your nurse at the pre op she will have the best idea. … Tbh I’m not bothering with the Macom bras as after the op I can’t see me wearing them ever again, I’ve instead got a shock absorber ultimate run bra, they give really good support and have no seems inside so perfect for healing. … Best to go in and get your back sized and fitted for this then just go up to your predicted cup size … They have a bit of room for stretching during swelling if needed.
Shock absorber and m&s also do zip up ones which are good as easy to do up.

@rebeccapierce95 i was told to get the back size I was pre op, as the cups are mouldable and adjust to your boobs when sewlling happens or go down… i wear 34 back and bought a M and its been great for me. i did buy a small as well for when i was going out and wanted them to be a bit “safer” if that makes sense.. that was too tight at first when my boobs were hard but now i can wear the medium and the small so comfortably! both MR Traynor and my nurse told me to get the same size back as i always wear xxxx

I’m a 34 normally and the nurse told me to get that size, I’m 9 dpo and it’s now massive lol it seems to hang off at the bottom, i hate it. Went to buy a sports bra from Asda yesterday but typical they didn’t have any in store xx

I’m 9dpo and I ordered normal back size of 32 and was super tight so have swoped to an Asda soft sports bra which is amazing so comfy xx
