Hello girls, it’s been a while since I posted. I’ve had a few issues with healing, at 7 weeks a couple of stitches were poking through my skin and on one side the skin started to break down. Not to scare you though the nurses have been fantastic and my skin is healing up nicely now, fingers crossed.

Anyway, my issue is something else, my surgeons advice. I went for my 3 month appointment last week (although I was only at 10 weeks) and my left implant is taking its sweet time to drop, the right is fantastic but my left is still
Square looking and the muscle still feels quite sore and tender. So I walked into the room and my surgeon said ‘nice to meet you’…. That was just very unprofessional, I know they see hundreds of people and I did not expect him to remember me personally, but he could of at least bothered to look at his notes to see I was there for a check up and not a consultation.

Anyway he rushed me quickly out the door, only seemed concerned that I signed the paperwork and left. Whatever, surgeons are surgeons. My problem is that he told me to firmly massage my left breast to help it drop – I have textured implants. Everywhere I have read says not to massage these sort of implants as it can cause huge problems. I don’t think he bothered to look at his notes before telling me to massage. Am I just being ignorant here or am I right about not massaging them? Everywhere I read says not to but I do appreciate I’m not the expert.

Has anyone else made a complaint against their surgeon? I don’t want a negative atmosphere as like I say the nurses have been amazing and the reception staff are always very friendly and helpful, it’s just the surgeon I have an issue with. I mean I don’t expect to be babied but I only had a couple questions but he was very rushed. My surgeon is mr Marcellino. The work he has done is fantastic, But I’m concerned by his attitude that he has given me incorrect advice here.
