    Hi Girls,

I have my op June 15th and want to prep some meals ready for post-op, has anyone got any ideas for me? something simple yet nutritional?

    Thank you 🙂 xx

    Hi Lianne,

I also meal prepped to a certain degree. I cooked a whole batch of chicken and had frozen veg, frozen avocados and also frozen sweet potato mash (my guilty pleasure!) all ready to go so all I had to do was heat it up. Pretty much cook a batch of your favourite foods and have it portioned ready to go will be fine? I couldn’t eat that much in one go after my surgery and even cutting hurt so my advice would be to already have it in bits! Also think about snacks like probiotic yoghurt or fruit bits. You get a lot of things to take and unless specified, it’s usually better for your stomach to have some food with it 🙂
I also read on here I think about getting a water bottle with a straw built in (mine is just from primark!) so that you can drink at whatever angle you get comfy at rather than trying to sit up, again it was a godsend for me the first few days! Hope that helps xx

Turkey mince or mince in general, so easy to cook and light as well.
Throw some veggies in , can get pre copped veggies in frozen section and so on.

I eat this daily high protein helps recovery
