Mini tummy tuck and Vaser lipo, advice?!

So today I went for my consultation with the surgeon and the initial intentions were for Vaser; he then discussed that a mini TT would be necessary too as the 4stone weight loss and post pregnancy has left me with excess skin. I’m 10x more nervous as I built the idea of just lipo.. Anyone had both or even a mini TT able to give me some advice about it all? Thank you!

Hi Sharde!! Who was your consult with? I was exactly the same as you 🙂 went in for vaser consult and was recommended vaser with a mini tt to get a better result. I have absolutely no regrets, I’m 11 days post op. Not gonna lie…it wasn’t pain free the first week and obviously there is the scar but once I started to realise it was skin that needed removing i came round to the idea, nothing you can do about that! It is pretty scary but my lower stomach is completely flat now. The rest of it is nice and flat, but there is still a bit of wrinkling above my belly button when i bend etc, because there’s still a bit of skin left over – but only a full tt would fix that. Hiya! I do have some pics on my laptop but away for xmas atm so will add them when I’m back. Yea i have some stretch marks and a bit of skin around the belly button which is still there as i didn’t have the full, but the part that really bothered me was this roll under my belly button which is now totally gone. And the vaser got rid of that roll under your bra you know? In clothes i look completely flat and am 100% more confident in a bra. The wrinkly skin around the bb is the only issue but i think once i have children I’ll have a full. I feel so much better honestly the diff is incredible – i had mr marcellino 🙂

And you will deffo need 10+ days. I’m super busy normally but was just about ok to go back after 2 weeks and now am 3 weeks feel comfortable. Week 1 really needed help from someone else all the time so make sure theres someone on hand. X

Also, in regards to clothing.. What could you wear post op? How was the garment? How long till you could get into some jeans? Sorry to be a pest ?

Haha no worries! I love Marcellino. He’s to the point and knows what he’s talking about, no nonsense. It sounds like i had the same problem as you – Just this lower belly flop! And the lipo did help flatten out my upper stomach, i do however have a few lumps and its not perfectly even but considering what it was before I’m happy. Omg the vest!! I’ll be honest it is the worst. Mine comes off on monday and ive just gotten used to it but the start is utter crap. Its so tight and it hurts over the scar and lipo area, also makes it harder to move and sleep 🙁 be prepared!! I so was not. My back killed me first 2 weeks. Oh and make sure they cut it down for you so it looks more normal! Not gonna lie, most things look ridic ha, I’ve just basically covered myself in big cardies and scarves to hide it. Thank god its winter! I don’t actually know how much they removed…I’ll post some before and afters below x

And good luck quitting! I was super healthy leading up to my op and i think it helped me recover quicker, the nurses say i look great for just 4 weeks

Last answer! I never wear jeans lol but can’t imagine id be able to even now. The scar is too low and would hurt and the garment would push them in. I go fot tights which i pull over the garment then a dress and cape/cardi things to disguise whats underneath. ?
