Mr Mounir anyone?

Has anyone had or having Mr Mounir? If so what is he like and could I possibly see some of his work? Would really appreciate any help given. Xx

I had surgery with mr mounir on Monday he’s very nice, I have posted two topics one ‘today’s the day :-D’ and POD1 from yesterday both have pictures, I am 2 days post opp today. He listens to what you want as I didn’t want to go with the size he recommend which was 300 and I chose 275 he respected my decision. I saw him twice before surgery xx

Thank you Joanna. I’ve had a look at your pics and i must say they look great, can I ask why you had overs when you had originally agreed to unders? Also how long after your initial meeting with Mr Mounir was your surgery? Xx

I met Mr Mounir today as I’m booked in for my surgery with him on 31st July. I’ve met another surgeon from MYA 2 years ago, but I have to say from the moment I met Mr Mounir today I was like ‘he is the surgeon for me’ he had a laugh with me and made me feel so comfortable. He offered me more than the last and explained things really well xx

I had dr mounir he’s just so lovely xx and a really good surgeon x I’m really pleased with my results I’m 11 weeks this Monday xx

I had Mr Mounir 375cc high profile unders im only 17 days post op so lots of changes to come yet but so far so good, he’s a lovely man xxx

I was unsure as haven’t really found anything about him online but then thought this has got to be the best place to do my research about him. I’m now so excited to finally meet with him and book my date! Xxx

Hi Melanie, if you type ‘Mr Mounir’ into the search box at the top it will bring up any post’s that mention his name and also any image files attached, that way you will see lots of older posts too instead of just current patients
(P.s, not sure how long you have been a forum member so not sure if you know but going back to posts from feb/march you will see alot of posts about cancellations with him but it was because he had un-scheduled surgery himself so had 4 weeks off they are not just random cancellations)
Im so happy i chose him i actualy booked my surgery with him before i met him, obviously if i had wanted to i still could have had a consultation with another surgeon but i went with my gut feeling and so pleased with my outcome so far xxx

He decided that unders didn’t fit right something to do with my muscle, when he came to explain I had only just come round from the GA so I didn’t really go into depth about why he changed the plan. I saw initially about 6 weeks before surgery xx

I’ve got my surgery booked with him on the 27th of April! So excited. He is so lovely as well! Xx

Kel, your ladies look great, how long after surgery was that pic taken? What size did you go for and did you have overs or unders? Sorry for all the questions but I’m just trying to get as much information as I can before I see Mr Mounir next week xx

I seen mr mounir yesterday and honestly he is such a nice guy! He made me feel so at ease as he examined me. I am smaller than a a cup not got any tissue so he advised I go under muscle high profile 325-375 gonna go for 350cc he also noticed that on my right side my ribs stick out more then the left side which I’ve never realised there was a medical term for it but I’ve forgotten. I was sat there thinking god this is what u do on a regular basis talking people through the risks. You’d expect hil to be sick of it and quickly into the next 1 but he had such a good sense of humour and made me feel very happy that I have him. He kept calling my friend my bodyguard as she kept asking questions haha … so overall from my experience of meeting him you are in very good hands!! Xx

I’m taking my husband with me as he has LOADS of questions, everyone that I’ve spoken to has great things to say about Mr Mounir so I’m pretty excited about meeting him. Have you booked your surgery yet? Did you go anywhere else before Mya for a consultation? Xx

Yes I’ve booked my surgery it’s 18th may although if the 8th may is still available on Friday (when I pay the full payment) I’m going to move it forward until then. Personally I’ve only had a consultation but through research although Mya is more on the pricey side it includes all your after care. Where as other places don’t provide this and can have hidden charges here there and everywhere. Also with MYA if you aren’t happy with your results in the first 3 years you can go back and have revision surgery at no extra cost so your also covered in that way also have 10 years guarentee if the implant was to rupture and other health problems…also when there was a certain implant that was used years ago people from other company’s charged there patients to remove and put better implants in as there was a fault with them or something. MYA where the only company that contacted all there patients who had the faulty implants and got them in to take them out and put better ones in free of charge overall in my eyes there the ones that came out on top when researching which company to go for. And I couldn’t be more happy they’ve been so welcoming… I’m not saying don’t go with other company’s as each person has different expectations. There’s no harm in shopping about and seeing what’s out there I just felt after my first consultation it felt right to go with MYA xx
