Hi girls, I had my pre op with my nurse yesterday and she said to just get the m&s high impact sports bras and that I don’t really need to get the Macom as they’re a nightmare to keep doing up. What do u all prefer?? Do u think it’s worth me getting a Macom aswell as m&s 1s? Xx

I personally preferred the high impact M&S ones for comfort….make sure you go at least one back size up of you do go with the Macon on the otherwise they can be quite restricting even though they mould to your breast, I found mine made my boobs feel really uncomfortable whereas the M&S was supportive yet not restrictive! X

I bought two from amazon and one from m&s, the m&s one is by far the comfiest 🙂

    Hi girls
I’m just looking at bras to get for my op and I’m gonna get a Macom but was wondering if Victoria secrets ones are any good? Has anyone used them? I never hear it mentioned, always m&s, asda etc but I was just looking and they do zip front ones ?? Just don’t know if they’d be supportive enough x

I got macom bras as well, thought it was easier not to have to worry about cup sizes. Best thing I did, they are very comfy and supportive. x

I have 3 macoms and 1 m&s high impact sports bra. Personally I prefer the macom, you don’t need to worry about whether it will fit you as it stretches to fit, which will save you money as you won’t need to keep buying different sized bras as you heal.

1 of the macoms I bought second hand had clearly been put through the washing machine (you’re supposed to hand wash only). I couldn’t wear that particular one in the beginning as it didn’t give me any support. I also was given a brand new macom sleeping bra, but even though it was a medium it really dug into me and I found I couldn’t wear it. My favourite so far has been the macom signature bra, I’m over 3 months post op and wear it to bed every night. I do wish that for the beginning stage of my recovery I had bought the i-bra, as that would have been even more supportive for my fairly big implants (450 & 500cc) x
