Hey girls my Macom bra has come and it’s a little bit tight but I also can’t see how my new boobs are going to fit in it! Should I send it back and get a size bigger? My boyfriend says he thinks it’s fine :/ what should I do xx

@alex-louise It will stretch to your new size, I was worried at first but it fits fine now I’ve had surgery. As long as the pack size fits you now it should be okay xx

Thank @kelly-93. Il stick with this one then. If it’s killing me il go to marks and Spencer’s and get one from there 🙂 xx

Haha it’ll be fine, at first it’ll feel so tight but as the swelling goes down it’ll be more and more comfortable. I’m 5 weeks post op and mines pretty loose on me now and so comfortable xx

I had my strapping off yesterday and had my macom put on mines leaving red marks all around how tight it is? Is it ment to be this tight because I know you don’t want it loose? Just need reassurance that it is ment to be really tight and I don’t need the bigger size because I got told to get the size I am before op which was a 32 (s) xx

I believe it is supposed to be tight to give you the support you need, however if it’s really uncomfortable you could try something else …just make sure it’s still very supportive. The shock absorber ultimate run bras a good one as it’s got really supportive straps at the back and no seems inside so shouldn’t rub. You can get properly fitted for these in Debenhams if you wanted too. (Back size particularly … You could always go with your predicted cup size as these will stretch to your actual size)

Thanks becki I will see how I go! I have ordered a soft one from Asda but don’t think it will give the support I need so may pop to debenhams before I go back to work tomorrow ? xx

The nurse helped me try to put on Macon bra 4 hours after my surgery. It did not fit around. I couldn’t even bring the two parts together at the front. On Day 7 I had the strapping off, the nurse tried the Macon bra again, and it fitted perfectly. In those first 6 or 7 days with the strapping on, many girls don’t wear the bra over the strapping (because the strapping itself is tight support). Stick with it, give it a few days, then your Macon will hopefully fit fine.
