I wanted to be honest about my experience so far because to be honest it isn’t how I expected.
I had my flanks done, and WOW I have never been in a more excruciating pain in my life ( ive had 2 c-sections) ive found the garment too painful to wear also.
I then found out I had a build up of fluid on my back which was causing the pain that I might have to go back and have syringed out :(. Im very very bruised and now lumpy under the skin.
The results do look I mean better than I was and I understand that it takes a while to settle and for swelling to go down! I think in the long run I’ll be pleased.
I just want people to be prepared that there is a high chance you will be bed bound for weeks! Im almost 2 weeks post op and I still can’t stand up myself from sitting down …. I had a BA at the same time which has felt relatively pain free in comparison! Xx

I had my flanks done …. It does look good so far and I’m sure in the long run it’ll look really good! Everyone is different with recovery too, 2 weeks on im still in a lot of pain, have a lot of fluid build up and can’t even get out of bed by myself. I have struggled big time because I have two Young kids and literally been able to do nothing at all for them! You’ll be fine but just be prepared you may be bed bound for a while! I saw a poor girl going for her check up yesterday and she could barely walk, so it isn’t just me! @sjane xx
