Hi ladies! My BA is a week tomorrow and I’m getting more nervous by the day!
Mainly about how I’ll feel after!

I’m going to fitzroy on a daycase, don’t know my time yet. My husbands coming with me and after we have to drive home (2hours away) as I have a 6 year old and 1 year old to pick up! As no one is able to have them overnight my husband is home from work with me for 5 back at work for 3 then off again for 5 days I have 2 weeks off thankgod!

Does everyone have drains in!? I’ve seen it mentioned on posts but my pre op nurse didn’t say anything about it!

What medication and pain relief do you get?

    Any advice appreciated!

Hey Chels, you’ll have drains as Mr Marcellino uses them. You don’t get that much pain when they are being removed, just slight discomfort. You get co-codamol and antibiotics to take home. Just to warn you though, get ready for the constipation/bloating that co-codamol may cause. Have a laxative at hand. xxx

Hey Chels, I’m in the same day as you I think. Not been here much as it makes the days go by soooooo sloooooow. I wouldn’t worry about the pain, everybody is different but the results will be well worth it! I’m an hour away in surrey.. just pray to god we don’t get stuck in London traffic. Have you booked your parking space yet? xx

I had a day case at Preston 6 months ago and I’ve never looked back! It’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever done! The staff were so friendly and helpful on the day! I kept a blog throughout the whole process from research to post op so this might help a bit more…

Yeah Hun! I’m going home same day! If they ask me to stay that’s fair enough but I’ve already paid and won’t pay more!
