hi i have just had a breast uplift and implants - next on my extremely long list is a tummy tuck. ive had 3 children 1 natural birth the other 2 c-sections, so i have a large over hang of disgusting skin - i hate it so much i also suffer with psoraris ( cant spell it ha) so my scars at times get very sore , i was just wondering wots the difference between a tummy tuck and mini tummy tuck? does there have to be a certain amount of over hang to be classed as a full tt ?? how much is a tummy tuck with mya? thanks x

Hi Staffords2,
I was the same as you, had a natural birth, then a C section and it proper ruined my tummy, over hangy skin and nasty scarring, I was so depressed. So I had my consultation with Mr Chantarasak in March this year and he confirmed I would need a full TT, so I had the procedure in May of this year and I am thrilled with the results. I think to determine whether or not you need a full TT will have to be decided by the surgeon, but if your tummy was like mine then he will probably suggest a full TT, which is more invasive than a mini (google the 2 procedures for a proper definition, I did!).
Anyway, I hope this has been helpful, email me if you want to ask anything.
Best wishes

hi toni thanks for repling, how much did it cost you? not sure i could afford it for some time. i know the end result will be brilliant but little put of with the length of scar. have you had bikini bottoms or small knickers on ? sorry - just wondered how much higher the scar is than top of knicker line? thats the only thing putting me off , the reason for having it done would be to look good in bikini not sure i want the big scar though!

Hi Staffords2 and Toni, I'm so glad that you are both on here cus i have found it really difficult to find someone to talk to about tummy tucks....... I have also decided to have one with Mr Chantarasak in september. I dnt think im nervous about the sugery but i am deffo about the recovery. how long did it take you to recover properly Toni? and did u have any complications?
Mr Chantarasak said that i would have quite a long scare, probs from hip to hip but for me the scar would be much better than the baggy skin that looks like a deflated balloon, and im getting a tummy botton again

Hi teresalal,
I too found that not seeing pics made it quite difficult for me to make a decision. I also found it hard because there was no one to talk to. For this reason i am thinking about writing a diary every step of the way (including photos). My surgery is booked for sept 14th so i could keep you up to date with my progress and any probs if you like. I'm not worried about the scar because for me it would be better than my tummy at the moment. I am how ever worried about the recovery and how much pain i might be in?? (im a real baby when it comes to pain.Posted 1 year ago # -
Hiya Sadie
that would be cool. i would really like that, i know id prefer the scar to my belly..lol, Its an excellent idea to make a diary. good luck with ur op , im watching this space.xxPosted 1 year ago # -
Hi there totally new to this site and have just hada phone consultation with Anna in London ~ Have made my appointment for my initial consultation for next tuesday 21st sept. I am looking at breast augmentation and tummy tuck operations and hoping to have the procedure in November (and if possible together ~ will find out tuesday if this is possible)
I have had 4 children and breastfed 3 of them, have also lost 2 stone in the last year so things are pretty diar and have the body of a 90 year old. I am unsure as to whether it would be 'fill up' or and uplift with implants that i want to go for (I know the surgeon will let me know what is best but it helps to speak to people that have had the procedures done already.staffords2 - Hey there, did u have a uplift with implants or did u just have implant to fill out what you already had? Would you be so kind as to email before and after pics if you have them?
Toni - Could i ask you to email me your before and after pics too? it would be most helpful to see 'real pictures' rather than ones that have 'been enhanced'
If anyone else reading this could help with pics of either of the above topics it would be greatly appreciated.
My email address is hayleysparkles@hotmail.co.uk
Looking forward to hearing from you

Hello,
I want to introduce about nose right topic. First of all, the nose right is a very good tool ONLY if you follow the instructions. I was very skeptical about this product naturally, but have to tell you it worked wonders for my nose. Something you should know is that it is not that comfortable at all, if you didn't have to wear it for only 15 minutes it would be a lot better.
Thanks!!

hi i am considering a tummy tuck/mini tummy tuck or even just vaser lipo! i have seen a surgeon at transform who really didn't tell me his opinion of what i needed!? he just said he could do the tuck but not vaser?! so I'm struggling to know where to go next... I've seen a clinic in leeds about vaser, and they said i will get good results, but they don't offer tummy tucks!! so I'm stuck.
Is there any updates on anyone who has had the tt surgery? id love to know how things went and about recovery. I have has a c section and found it very hard afterwards! it puts me off! any advice welcome as this has bothered me for the best part of 16 years!Posted 7 months ago # -
I have my tummy tuck booked for 13 September and would love to hear from someone who is post-op. How long were you completely incapacitated for? Was sleeping a real problem? The other thing is that the nurse suggested that I would only be able to wear clothes that button up at the front = apart from a man's shirt, I'm not sure I have anything of that description! Photos and all thoughts and feelings would be most welcome!!
