Hey ladies, I had my surgery in Monday (16/5) and everything went fantastic. I arrived at Fitzroy about 9.25 and went to my room at 9.45 and met all my nurses. They were so lovely and looked after me really well, I couldn’t have asked for a better team 😀 Mr Marcellino came to draw on me and was super chirpy and happy so made me feel at ease, I was in theatre by 12.30 and was back in my room at about 2 to recover! Didn’t have a great time coming around from the anaesthetic, was throwing up until about 7 pm and had to be on a drip but the nurses kept coming to check on me and made sure I was comfortable. I ended up leaving the hospital about 9, so was a long day and I was super tired. Threw up once more during the night after taking my antibiotics but since then I’ve been feeling much better.

I can’t wait to have the strapping off because I’m not loving the cone boob Madonna look and it’s super itchy, and hot. Very weird having numb boobs and they’re so heavy! I had 300L/275R mod+ round overs, when I woke up I looked down and they look enormous, I’m hoping it’s just because they’re strapped in a weird way. Any ways, I’m getting the strapping off on Friday (hopefully) so I’ll post some before and after pictures then, I can’t bear to show you my frankenboobs right now because they look so gross ?? How long will it take before they start looking more normal? ?

love the name of this post!! ? the amount of things i have been tagged in on facebook about small boobs and im like nope not anymore guys! 😉 mine are dropping little bits every day and feeling more normal, my left is taking longer than my right but might be because i am right handed so it’s my more dominant side. just rest up and make sure you’re taking it easy 🙂 the first few weeks are the most important! xx

I haven’t been finding sleep so bad, but I never slept great anyway. Just wake up very hot! I’ve been able to get dressed myself today so that’s a bonus, and move my arms a bit more but trying to rest as much as I can.
Have you had your stitches out yet? I’m guessing they won’t be coming out Friday :/ xx

i am the same, keep having to wake up to adjust my pillows and open the window haha i had dissolvable stitches but still have dressings on as my surgeon likes her patients to keep them on for 2 weeks, not long until i can have a proper shower! can’t wait! 😀 they may take them out but my friend had to keep hers in for 2 weeks xx

yeah i can bath easily or even shower with the water on low pressure but it isn’t the same as having a proper shower! cannot wait until Sunday when i can have a proper shower and remove my dressings, just finished my antibiotics!! ?? you can also try washing with hot water in the sink with some bubble bath in it and use a flannel with a towel around you to protect your dressings, i didn’t have strapping though just dressings under the boobs x

Wahooo, I’ve had my strapping off 🙂 freedom!
They feel a lot softer today and swelling has gone down a lot, still rock hard tho. And still no shower until I get my stitches out on Tuesday ?? might try and wash my hair today.
