Hi dolls, was just wondering when you started to sleep on your side?? I slept last night on my side (slightly elevated) and had the best nights sleep I had in months but don’t want to cause myself any problems! I’m 4weeks post op now….
    Thanks girlies

I’ve been sleeping on a tilt from about 1 week post op! My surgeon said there isn’t actually any up to date valid evidence of why you can’t sleep on your side from day 1 post op. He told me to just lie whichever way I felt comfy so that’s what I’ve done xx

My nurse said If you sleep on your side when you still have swelling it can cause it to move the the side you laid on. And the reason for sleeping on our backs is so that the implants settle into the right place.
My nurse said I coujd sleep on my side from around week 4/5. But shift side every couple of hours and put a pillow between boobs and mattress x
