That should be arranged at your consultation with the surgeon unless there are any last minute changes @lynzzi25 xx

Usually you will decide when you try the implants on in a sizing bra after seeing your surgeon. Your surgeon will have ordered three sizes of implant for your operation so you’ll be able to change your mind on the day if you like. My surgeon ordered 480, 535 and 590 and I chose 480 on the day of my surgery. Good luck! xx

hi @lacelabyrinth how are you feeling? have they settled well? any more pain?
can I ask why you chose the smallest size? iv got a choice between 300,330 and 360. I know most girls go for the biggest and surprised you went for the smallest, although 480 is still huge lol 🙂 xxxxx

when I meet the surgeon the biggest he offered me was 400cc then I went back into wating room to be taking upstairs to try on all the implant sizes he choose for me. I told her I wanted 400cc im just wondering if they go over everything they spoke to you about on the day of your op just incase they put a smaller size in by mistake xx

Hey @cwinch! I showed my surgeon, Dr Mounir, a few pictures at our consultation and he came to the conclusion that I wanted as big as possible. So he chose quite big implants on that premise. I was more concerned about the shape and look of the implants 🙂 So when it came to trying them on 590 seemed far too big for me and 48o looked in proportion. I’m quite petite and only 5ft 3 so 590 would have looked really out of proportion for me personally. xx

Oops forgot to mention! My incision pain is a bit up and down really, so days I can feel really good with zero pain, and the next i’ll be really uncomfortable and achy. Overall i’m feeling much better! Three weeks tomorrow eeee! xx

@lacelabyrinth ah ok! you are the same height as me! although I think you had a lot more tissue that me, id never fit a 480 let alone a 590 in my body! lol. I think you made the right choice, they are lovely a big now, but suitable for your frame! im so jealous 🙂 im worried about how soon I can return to work really? have you been driving?

I have 9 days today am im so excited xxx

@cwinch ahhh only 9 days! Excited for you. I wouldn’t consider going back to work for at least 2 weeks, 3 if you can get away with it! If you try to do too much too soon it can hinder your healing. We definitely don’t want capsular contraction or infection! As for driving, a week or so later? It really depends when you feel right. I had overs so had full use of my arms and had no pain in them so it wasn’t a problem xx

Haha that sounds ideal @cwinch. My 4 year old was on holiday with my mum for a week when I had my surgery so I just relaxed on the sofa like a potato for a week haha. I think it helped! Xx
