I can clearly see that the majority of conversation here relates to females and BA procedures.
However I am a male who ever since my memories began has been uncomfortable with prominent ears and I have saved up and at 27yrs decided I don't have to live under this cloud anymore. Have been to MYA london for both initial consultation and met with my elected surgeon Dr Chantarasak, and have about a month to go for the surgery date.
I read a lot of good things about Dr Chantarasak's work in the BA world, but can't find pictures or any 'reviews' or discussions about his Otoplasty procedures.
Its a big deal for me to have this procedure done and i'm a little apprehensive I suppose, but definately want to do it, so i was just wondering if anyone reading this forum has any experience of this procedure or can offer any advice or even pictures. It sounds a little lame but I have dreamt of Hollywood perfect ears for so long, and I know Dr Chantarasak could't make any guarentees but some pictures from google look a long way from male model perfect ears, which i think is making me more aprahensive than i would be otherwise.
Check out makemeheal, google it, it's a great site and you will get SO much help and advice there no doubt. They have different forums with the nose and breast forums being the most popular. Go to the ear forum and you'll be able to speak to people that have had the procedure. I have no experience of this personally but from what I do know it's a very simple procedure with minimal scarring so try not to worry. I would recommend going with a surgeon that's done atleast 100 plus procedures of this nature. Maybe a facial surgery specialist to be on the safe side. Good luck!
