Ok, so I am a little late with this. I had my strapping removed on Friday (such a relief) and finally got to see my new boobies. Getting the strapping removed didn’t hurt at all….it was so nice to have it taken off that I didn’t mind the very mild waxing feel and if anything found it quite pleasant.

I was worried about my incisions as I am terribly queasy at the site of blood etc so it was music to my ears when the nurse said my incisions had already closed up nicely. She wiped a bit of antiseptic over them and added fresh sterile strips. I was told in 4 days I can remove the strips and take a shower. Still no baths but a shower sounds good…Roll on Tuesday!

I got to see my new boobs and I love them. The nurse did feel a lump in my left breast and just asked me to keep an eye on it, especially as I do still have a numb feeling around the Base of that breast. As you will see from the pic, I also have bruising around that one. However, I aren’t worrying too much as I was told to treat them as sisters rather than twins in the respect that they both react and heal differently.

So below is a couple of pics and I have added some more to my profile. I had 350cc hp partials with Kazzazi in Doncaster on 10th April and despite being so up and down for the first few days, I feel great now and so happy 🙂 … oh and the nurse said after Friday, I no longer need to sleep upright….wahoo! It’s all good from here on.

I k ow its not the right time but i did measure myself and currently at a 34D. I did want a DD but i am so happy with the size I have and dont think i will have boob greed.

Thank you for reading and let me know what you think girls or if you have any questions. X

@laylamanyera Thank you 🙂 The sports bra is a New Balance one….I think they are usually about £20 but I got this one from TK Maxx for about £10. It’s really comfy and doesn’t rub against incisions like my Macom does. Have you had your op yet? X

They look amazing already @katrina84 🙂 I wouldn’t worry about the size of them just yet…I wore a 36e sports bra and I’m a 34g now (9 weeks post-op). Kazzazi is great isn’t he? He did my boobs and I love them 🙂 totally changed my life! Happy healing 🙂 xo

@leylamanyera I got a Medium which just fits but they also do a large if you need a bigger size….they look smaller than they are. TK Maxx have quite a range of sports bras in the fitness section and u can try them on first although I didn’t bother with that. I just looked for ones that were supportive, had a soft bottom seem and could be concealed under most tops. I also got a couple from Sainsbury ‘s believe it or not that are really comfy and pretty too but not as supportive. After buying a Macom which I didn’t find great, I refuse to spend so much on a temporary bra again. Are you happy with your results so far? X

@beakysbird Thank you Tracey 🙂 Yes, this has definitely become my favourite sports bra….so comfy, none restrictive yet supportive and finally….one that does not rub the incision area lol. I think i will be going back to get some other colours. I did try get the asda 2 for £7 recommended ones but they have been low on stock for ages now with no 34D’s….actually quite pissed off with them as I have tried 2 different stores over 2 weeks waiting for stock to come in and it hasn’t so I have given up on them…lol x

@georgiak I asked about the sleeping thing as lack of sleep is killing me. I was told I couldn’t be submerged in water until 6 weeks post op but I can take the sterile strips off on Tuesday and can have a shower. No washing around the incision but it’s ok for water to drip down them. I then have to pat them dry each with a clean dry part of the towel. I asked about creams too and the nurse said I can cream everywhere except around the incisions. I had all my questions ready for her but I had 7 days to prepare them all haha X

@katrina84 thank you for the info! I forget to ask when i go as theres so much going on haha, so can you get a normal shower and wash your hair? Will the soap that runs dpwn from that not matter? Its good to hear about the sleeping! Im just gonna go by what youve said seen as we were on same day haha i know ive gotta take my plasters off wednesday xxx

Your welcome @georgiak. …the nurse said I can wash as normal using an antibacterial wash but should not target the incisions when washing however it is ok for the shower to trickle water/suds down. The most important thing was to use anti bacterial wash and a clean towel each time to pat dry each incision using a clean separate area of the towel for each breast. She also said to wear a clean sports bra every day once the plasters are removed, as the incisions become more vulnerable to infection from clothing. I didn’t ask about the hair thing to be honest and I can’t wash my hair with jist the anti bacterial wash so I will prob continue to wash it separately over the bath with the shower head using my normal shampoo and conditioner just in case. Washing my hair the other day felt great….I must have just about had a full can of dry shampoo on my head….haha. Hope you are healing ok and proud of your new additions….I love mine so much 🙂 x

@georgiak I have my first day back at work tomorrow and I feel so nervous. A few people know I was having this surgery but tbh they probably will question if I had it or not as in a sports bra, I look the same as I did before cos I wore heavily padded bras lol. Oh….and I need to use some light padding as my nipples have become that sensitive, they tend to show through the unpadded sports bras….that would be a little awkward. Did u tell anyone at work and did anyone notice? X

@katrina84 yes a few people i told at work, i work in a primary school so didnt want everyone knowing as some people can be quite stuck up! Yes i look exactly the same as well!! I dont even look like ive had a boob job in clothes haha, but i think when we can wear normal bras again they will look loads bigger, but no one noticed at work, iv just wear my macom and i put some breast pads in lol xx
