My friend wants to try pole dancing for fitness, I’ve been discharged after 3months by surgeon but don’t know if I can lift my own weight on a pole at this early ish stage. Anyone know?

Hi Julie, I’m interested to know this too! I’m only 3wpo so a while off yet…did you have unders or overs? What scares me is doing something like this there’s bound to be muscle pain afterwards but I don’t know how easy it will be to tell if it’s just normal pain from the strenuous nature of it or boob pain? Although I don’t know for definite whether you can, I do know that your meant to take it easy and on that basis I would say no. X

Please let me know if you find out exactly please because I was looking on starting it but didn’t think I would have to wait that long! I though I would of been fine after just over 2 months! xx

Spoke to nurse today and she said after 3months should be ok, but my body will tell me if I’m not so just try and see. It’s only intermediate sessions anyway

Hi girls. I did pole fitness before having my op, i had unders so my nurse advised that i wait at least 6 months and lifting myself on the pole could hurt me and my implants wont be fully settled into the pockets yet. Everyones different i know so i guess your body will let you know when your ready. I am 13wpo and mashi g potatoes on sunday was a little difficult haha xx
