    Hey girls!

Wondering if someone can help, I’m booked into my first consultation next Monday (so bloody excited!) currently a very deflated 32b (just!) and aiming to be a full 32C/D! 🙂
I just wondered what happens with post op with check ups. Surely I don’t have to go back to London ever week to have check ups? Do you just see a nurse at your local doctors surgery or what?! I’m so confused and can’t seem to see any information anywhere. (Although I’m sure I’l be told all this monday, im just too impatient to wait – lol)

    Hope that makes sense 🙂

Ps I have totally boob envy of you all!!

    Hey Kelly!

Ah man, that’s annoying. Yeah London is my closest clinic. How often do we actually need to go to have the check ups? Is it every week or did I make that up? Lol. I’ve started a new role at work so I’m worried my schedual l will be so busy to keep taking days off for check ups! (Although I know it’s obviously important)

When are you in for your op? Xx

Hi hun, Im booked in to the Fitzroy on Jan 30th for my BA. My initial meeting with my PC was in cardiff, and meeting my surgeon and nurse for pre op was in Cardiff also. The only reason I actually need to go to London is for my Op! All my post ops will then be in Cardiff.
Is there not a local clinic near you? xxx

    Hey lovelies

Thanks for your replies! 1 week and then again at 6 weeks is do able with work! Just annoying it’s trains back and forth to London but unfortunately that’s the closest one. Then again it’s a small price to pay for finally having the boobs of your dreams ha ha.

Hope you’re all recovering well! Thanks for your help ???? X

    Hey Jessica,
I’ve had to go back every week for 3 weeks due to my incisions not healing fast enough so my nurse has needed to see me and change my dressings etc, my last appt with the nurse was yesterday until my 6 week post op check up (which is 3 weeks away now)

    Hiya

I had to go week 1 and also week 2 this week then should be just week 6. Week 2 appointments only needed if the nurse needs needs to see your incisions again for me I have one non dissolvable stitch so I’m going to just have that removed. I think usually all stitches are dissolvable.

I have to go back to the London clinic so had to take the day off work for week 2 appointment

    Hope that helps x
