So today was not so fun… I got a really bad sharp pain at the incision of my right breast as I tried to move myself from the couch. I instantly felt sick then passed out and apparently started having a fit. Twitching, eyes rolling back in my head. My boyfriend phoned an ambulance and the Mya emergency line. No one answered the Mya line (they did call back)
I went into hospital and they said I had a vasovagal attack in response to the pain which caused my heart rate and blood pressure to drop rapidly. They couldn’t see if there was any bleeding because of all the strapping but didn’t think there was. They told me to be aware of shortness of breath as a sign of blood clot in the lungs. Infections or bleeding. If any of those symptoms arise I should go to hospital Asap. But they recommend I see a surgeon soon to check that there is nothing wrong.

My first few days were fine up until then. Very little pain. I thought I was having a smooth recovery. Just a warning to others even if you are feeling fine. Take it easy!! I did one wrong move and ended up in an ambulance.

I’m now completely paranoid about it happening again.
