Post op day 4! Still in pain! ?

So I’m post op day 4 and still in lots of pain! Iv run out of the meds they gave me so I’m now on just normal painkillers! I feel like this pain is never going to go away ? how long until I start feeling ok? I can’t really do much and moving around is a struggle!! And to top things off my hair is greasy and I haven’t managed to bath yet so I feel totally gross! Nd I think iv grossed my partner too coz he won’t come near me! ? lol xx

Don’t worry! I’m now post op day 14 and I never thought I’d ever feel normal again at say 4 – but I already do!! Day 4 and 5 were my worst, after that I started to feel SO much better, and by day 7 (once I got the wrapping off) I could stop taking painkillers. Hang on in there I promise you’ll feel better by day 6.

@Ec1988 I dont have strapping on but I do have a breast band which is tight also I think my macom bra is to tight coz it’s so much better when I Undo it for a bit xx

You need to keep it fairly tight so that your boobs can settle properly. I know its uncomfortable though, im 1 week post op tomorrow and feel so much better already. try and have a bath, i sat in the bath to have a wash and then got changed and lent my head over the bath and my fiancee washed my hair for me, i felt so much better once i had nice clean hair !! xx
