Post op sleeping? Help

Are you supposed to sleep sitting up? No one really mentioned anything to me, I have 2 big pillows underneath my head/ top of back and a thinner v pillow on top, but when I lie on it they do squash down so I’m not sitting up that much is that ok?!

I was told by the nurse as long as you’re not lied with your back flat you’re fine. I’m struggling 3 weeks post op I really want to snuggle up on my side! x

I was told 45 degrees for the first 2 weeks and now i sleep slightly more propped up than usual but on my sides and back x

I was told to be upright so anything above 45 degrees. I’m sleeping with 2 pillows, a very pillow and a neck pillow but it’s putting pressure on my bum and back of my head so I keep waking up 🙁 can’t wait until I can just lie down!
