Anyone else at Preston on the 22nd?
If so have you guys had admission times?

Also I know I’m a day case but the list of what to take to hospital says something like photo ID and also something about pre op and post op information? I don’t understand what this info is as I wasn’t given any info at my pre op? HELP
I’m getting so nervous now! Excited but nervous!

Also my patient co-ordination just called me and asked me for my NHS number and I asked about the info pack, basically she said it’s not needed. Just the sports bra is essential! Xxxx

I had mine this week at Preston and all I needed was my post surgery bra. They didn’t even ask for ID or any documents but I would take your MYA pack just incase.
If your a day case truly all you need is your bra, some magazines incase your waiting a while and overnight stuff if your staying in a hotel Nearby (I did) xx

How is the hospital in Preston? Im getting so nervous now! Need all the info I can get! The thing I’m most worried about is the anaesthetic ? Hate needles so much xxxx
I was EXACTLY the same!!!
I wasn’t too nervous at all until I arrived then I felt physically sick lol.
The worst part it actually waiting because it’s the unknown and don’t know what to expect. I am so scared of needles and I said to the nurse please please please make sure I’m asleep before you start operating lol, I was so scared it’s unbelievable to the point where she said she may have to cancel the operation as my heart rate was so fast. She gave me this calming drug and I felt like I was a bit drunk and honestly that was it!! I woke up with new boobies. The needle didn’t hurt at all and I think the fear took over the pain as I don’t even remember her putting the needle in. I don’t have any bruises or marks from it at all. The easiest part is the actually operation!!! Hand on heart it really is. You will be fine and everyone is so lovely. I had nothing to worry about xxxxxx
Oh my gosh Emily that’s so crazy! Especially the bit where you mention your heart rate was so fast! That’s mad! Good to know there’s some kind of calming drug you can have though that’s quite reassuring!
Mines next Wednesday and I’m more excited at this point just a little nervous but it’s natural I suppose

@caseymj you may get it tomorrow my pc told me you normally get it 2 days before your op but ive had mine since Thursday. Ring them up and ask tomorrow
