    Hey everyone,
So I’ve booked my first consultation for next Wednesday at the Manchester clinic I’m so excited!! ? The only thing is that I’ve never had any kind of surgery before so I’m worried if I’m allergic to the anaesthetic! And so worried that I won’t wake up on surgery day ? (Whenever that will be) I know it probably sounds silly! I’m absolutely dreading the cannula as needles are like my worst fear! I’ve had a blood test once out of my hand and the pain was awful I cried like a baby ? Is there anything you can do to stop the pain? Like numbing it or anything? ? Or is it not that bad? ?
    Thanks in advance! Xxx

Hey girl! you will be fine, the anesthetist will put you completely at ease before your op, they are there watching you the whole time your surgeon is operating on you and making sure you are okay. They also have numbing creams and things available and deal with nervous patients everyday! One little scratch and thats it, you wake up with brand new boobs!

It will be the best thing you ever did!

    Hi!
I’d never had an op before and I was terrified of being allergic to the anaesthetic. I couldn’t calm down for ages on op day, my heart rate was insane!
There was a lady working with the anaesthetist who was the sweetest woman, she was really calming and kind. She really helped, she was reassuring me and then all of a sudden I was asleep! Then I heard my name and I was in recovery with another really kind woman, and I rabbited on about wanting to go to Jamaica and recommending recipes to her, haha.
Far from being allergic to anaesthetic, they said they’d never seen someone recover from it so well. I wish I hadn’t spent all my time before freaking out!

You’re in excellent hands & it’s a pretty straight forward procedure. Even if the worst happens, they’re trained for it. You’ll be fine 🙂 Good luck with your consultation! xxx
