Hi hunni, I’m sorry to hear about that but you’ll be happy to know that there are a few options available for you. Can I ask, is the scarring quite deep? Have you seen a dermatologist? X

i havent been to see a dermatologist, i didnt know they dealt with scarring, i thought they were more about facials and spots etc.

i think its quite deep yeh, about a year ago i was playing cricket, properly kitted out as mother always made sure so i wasn’t too fussed when the ball conked my on the side of the face, fairly normal and i had my helmet, a [URL=”http://www.twenga.co.uk/dir-Sports,Cricket,Cricket-helmet-598″%5Dpuma cricket hat[/URL], but something inside had come loose and to this day i do not know what it was but suddenly everything was red and it became clear that id bust open my brow. its pretty heavily scarred but i got lucky, there is no nerve damage.

is this sort of thing easy to minimise?

oh that sounds painful :( they can use microdermabrasion and acid peels to level the skin out, aswell as collagen injection and filler to encourage skin renewal. laser treatment is also an option, i’d go see a skin surgeon who specialises in facial reconstruction as they have a lot of experience with fixing scar tissue etc xx
