I need some serious advice about recovery time of a tummy tuck and breast uplift, I’m having both together next year and trying to find a date that is suitable. the first date I have a wedding three and a half weeks later I am bridesmaid, realistically can I do it? I’m so worried atm about recovery time. If I have it later I will lose a lot of work. any advice please xxx

Also if there is anyone with before during and after pictures please add me if you don’t mind me seeing.

A tummy tuck is a pretty big recovery, from other people I know who have had it, you’re looking at a few weeks of not being able to anything, adding the body trauma of a second surgery with that. I’d say going to a wedding 3.5 weeks later isn’t the best idea.

I’ve had mine done (both at the same time) on 30tb July, so I’m a month and 18 days post op.
I could walk up straight pretty much at one week point but with lots of back pain still. Only in the last couple of days the swelling has gone down enough to feel comfortable in my own skin. But other women are different and swelling is gone by 6 weeks. By 3.5 weeks not all your incisions might have closed/ healed completely. I had a stubborn stitch that prevented the wound to close down until it was removed. Things happen.. Other ladies by this point still can’t walk straight or for long enough time. I would advise to do it at least 6 weeks before that wedding. Better safe than sorry..even sitting down it will be a problem with all the garmets folding and digging into your waist, which is uncomfortable at best and painful if you’re swollen at all. I still look about 3months pregnant..and need to wear supporting pants.
