Scar Revision Surgery

Has anybody else had this done as I’ve been to see surgeon tonight regarding my right boob as it has dropped and the scar has stretched and now looks like a huge thick white stretch mark. He has said that he will need to do revision surgery on the scar by cutting it out and re-stitch. I haven’t come across this before and I’m only 9 months po. Any advice would be very appreciated xx

I would like to know this too. Im wondering weather to go back to see my surgeon , mine arnt anywhere near the ‘crease’ which i dont have much of. And if i turn to the side i can see my scars edge on my left boob! Do you know if u will have to pay for this sarah? X

My left one is right in the crease but the right is now out of the crease and actually on my boob. Went to see surgeon who has agreed to do the revision free of charge but I have to wait for head office to approve this then I can book the surgery. Should be about 6 weeks so I’m told xx

Yeah mine are both on the boob and can see it on side view. Well done for gettin them to re do it for you free aswell. Good luck with it, i hope they’re in touch soon for you xx you’ve now inspired me to go and meet with the surgeon! Xx

It also explains why my nipples point in different directions, just hope it doesn’t make it look any worse as one points central and the other one south lol xx

Well definitely mention that. I can only imagine that when they cut it sway to re stitch its going to pull the skin down further. Xxx

That’s what I said and the surgeon said it will actually pull it up and he is going to do it from the bottom and move the crease. It can’t look no worse than what it does now xx
