    Hi,

12 months ago I had vaser liposuction at the Manchester clinic. Dr Grant Hamlet, who performed the procedure, told me to expect mid-high def results based upon his ‘expert’ assessment of me.

I was told after the procedure that everything went well and Dr Hamlet was happy with the results, although he wasn’t there to tell me himself because he had to ‘shoot off to get the train’…how comforting, had he been clock watching throughout the procedure?

The night after my procedure I had a concern about a pain I was feeling, so tried ringing the emergency contact number. 6 times I tried, I got no answer. Thank god it wasn’t a real emergency. I brought this up on my next visit to the clinic, only to be told that it was ‘unusual’ and would be looked in to.

The first time I saw my body after the procedure I was less than impressed, but I figured with the swelling not to expect too much.

So I’ve been patient, because Dr Hamlet told me it can take up to 12 months to see the final results. I’ve been eating healthily, doing my daily exercises, and yet 12 months on I don’t have the results I was told I could expect. Infact, apart from a slight change in the area under my arms, I struggle to see any major difference (I have pictures of me before the procedure I’ve been comparing myself to).

So what now? I don’t have the money to pay to have the procedure again, but I’m left thousands of pounds out of pocket for virtually no results to show for it.

I want Mya to put it right and attempt to give me the results that they themselves said I could achieve. I had no real expectations before I went in to see them, it was all the before and after pictures they showed me and the assessment by Dr Hamlet which gave me the hope that I could obtain the body I wanted. I was even told about how many of the staff at the Manchester clinic had had the procedure and were ‘amazed’ by the results. They gave me false hope and charged me for it, I just feel a complete fool for believing they could deliver what they said they could.

There is nowhere on their website that tells me how to make a complaint, I don’t even know if I can? And even if I do, it seems unlikely that they would help at this stage, I don’t really know what to do and it’s pushing me back into the depressed self loathing state I was in before the procedure.
